About Natalie Warren

Mrs. Natalie Warren is a musician, pianist, educator, visual artist, poet, writer, music braille and braille transcriber.

Music has always been a passion and natural companion since childhood growing up in Hong Kong. Natalie started her own piano studio while completing her Piano Performance degree at University of California, Irvine, blending her training with hands-on teaching and creative work.

Natalie spent several years building creative musical experiences as a concert artist, giving solo performances, chamber ensembles, festivals such as Taubmann Institute, Songfest, and Aspen Music Festival.

Having Retinitis Pigmentosa since childhood and Glaucoma since adulthood, she has continued her creative journey using adaptive tools. Along the way, Ishe discovered a connection to poetry and visual art, blending them with her musical gifts in creative works.

Natalie’s love of nature also has poems published in the Avocet Journal, a nature poetry, the MockingOwl Roost, Behind Our Eyes’ Magnets and Ladders, and the International Mingled Voices 10 Anthology Hong Kong Proverse Poetry Prize. Her artworks have been showcased in art exhibitions, auctions, fundraisers, and festivals.

Since volunteering with the Braille Institute as an online piano instructor for blind and partially sighted communities, Natalie has expanded her work and collaborations with other nonprofit organizations, supporting education and accessibility efforts around the world.
